house is stylized on the arts and crafts traditions established by the
roycroft movement native to this homesite. Rooms are
oriented around the views of a natural pond at back and the floor plan
is anchored by a great room with a tiled central fireplace and loft
overlook. Efforts were made to nest additional bedroom space into the
roofline without creating a conventional 2 story house.
